I strongly believe that many practices of Eastern medicine are effective at preventing disease as well as promoting health and wellbeing. I also have a strong respect for Western medicine and its ability to treat disease and increase the human lifespan.
I have a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. I have a Ph.D. in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
I received Level 1 and PreNatal/PostPartum yoga teacher training certifications through YogaFit Training Systems Worldwide, Inc.
I am currently registered in the Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology program through The Flourishing Centre as well as the Integrative Health and Lifestyle Program through the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
